• Anime Lists: Data related to your personal anime lists, such as "Watching," "Planning," "Completed," "On Hold," and "Dropped," including which anime are in these lists and any associated progress.
• Watch History: Records of the episodes you have watched and when you watched them.
• Daily Watch Statistics: Aggregated data about your viewing activity, such as total minutes watched per day.
• User Preferences: Settings you configure for the Service, such as preferred audio language (sub/dub), video seek time, autoplay preferences, UI mode (light/dark), and accent color theme.

We do not require you to create a traditional server-side account to use these core personalization features.

Information from Third-Party Services:

• Google Drive (Optional): If you choose to use the Google Drive backup and restore feature, we will interact with the Google Drive API on your behalf to store and retrieve your YumeAniHub data backup file (`.YAH`). We will only access files created by YumeAniHub or files you specifically authorize for restore. We do not store your Google account credentials. Authentication is handled by Google.
• External APIs: To provide anime information, news, quotes, and schedules, YumeAniHub interacts with various third-party APIs. We do not typically collect personal information from you to make these API requests, but these third-party services will have their own privacy policies regarding any data they might collect from your interaction with their services via our platform.

Usage Data (Analytics - General Statement):

We may collect non-personally identifiable information about how the Service is accessed and used ("Usage Data"). This Usage Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol address (e.g., IP address - often anonymized or generalized), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data. This data is used to improve the Service and is generally aggregated and anonymized.

The information stored locally in your browser (IndexedDB) is used solely to provide and enhance your personalized experience on YumeAniHub. This includes:

3. Data Storage, Security, and Control

Client-Side Storage: As emphasized, your primary personal data (lists, history, profile, preferences) is stored in your browser's IndexedDB. This data is subject to your browser's security mechanisms and storage limitations.

Security: While we implement reasonable measures to protect the integrity of the YumeAniHub website itself, the security of data stored locally on your device is primarily your responsibility and depends on the security of your device and browser.

Your Control Over Data:

• Export/Import: You can export all your YumeAniHub data (settings, lists, history, stats) as a `.YAH` file for backup or transfer. You can also import this data into another browser or device.
• Google Drive Backup/Restore (Optional): You can choose to back up your data to your personal Google Drive and restore it from there. This interaction is governed by Google's terms and privacy policy.
• Data Deletion: YumeAniHub provides options to clear specific parts of your data (e.g., My List, Watch History) or to delete all your YumeAniHub data stored in the browser. These actions are permanent for the data stored in that specific browser.

Data Retention: Data stored in your browser's IndexedDB will remain there until you manually clear it through our Service's settings, clear your browser's site data, or uninstall your browser.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

YumeAniHub may use cookies or similar tracking technologies for essential website functionality, such as remembering your theme preferences or session information for features like Google Drive integration. We aim to minimize the use of non-essential tracking.
