DMCA Takedown Policy
Last Updated: June 1, 2025
YumeAniHub ("we," "us," or "our") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable intellectual property laws, we have a policy of addressing notices of alleged infringement.
As YumeAniHub primarily acts as an index and embeds content from third-party, publicly available sources, we do not host copyrighted material on our servers. Our service helps users discover and organize anime-related content available elsewhere on the internet.
1. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you are a copyright owner or an agent thereof and believe that any content displayed on or linked to by the YumeAniHub Service infringes upon your copyrights, you may submit a notification pursuant to the DMCA by providing our Designated Copyright Agent (see Section 3) with the following information in writing (see 17 U.S.C 512(c)(3) for further detail):
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works at that site.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit YumeAniHub to locate the material. Providing URLs in the body of an email is the best way to help us locate content quickly.
- Information reasonably sufficient to permit YumeAniHub to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an electronic mail address at which you may be contacted.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
Failure to include all of the above information may result in a delay in processing your DMCA notification.
2. Action Upon Receipt of Notification
Upon receipt of a valid DMCA Takedown Notice, YumeAniHub will:
- Promptly investigate the claim.
- If the claim is found to be valid and the infringing material is content that YumeAniHub can directly control (e.g., a direct link or embed code that we manage), we will remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
- As YumeAniHub primarily links to or embeds third-party content, in many cases, the most effective way to address infringement is to contact the third-party service hosting the content directly. However, we will still review claims related to how our Service links to or presents such content.
3. Designated Copyright Agent
DMCA Takedown Notices should be sent to our Designated Copyright Agent at:
Email: dmca@yumeanihub.xyz
Subject Line: DMCA Takedown Notice
(Please note: This email address is for DMCA notices only. Other inquiries will not receive a response.)
4. Counter-Notification
If you believe that material you posted on the Service was removed or access to it was disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with us by submitting written notification to our Designated Copyright Agent (listed above) that includes substantially the following (see 17 U.S.C. Section 512(g)(3)):
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access disabled.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal Court for the judicial district in which the address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which YumeAniHub may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided notification of the alleged infringement.
If a counter-notice is received by the Copyright Agent, YumeAniHub may send a copy of the counter-notice to the original complaining party informing that person that it may replace the removed material or cease disabling it in 10 business days. Unless the copyright owner files an action seeking a court order against the content provider, member or user, the removed material may be replaced, or access to it restored, in 10 to 14 business days or more after receipt of the counter-notice, at YumeAniHub's sole discretion.
5. Repeat Infringers
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, YumeAniHub has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at YumeAniHub's sole discretion, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. YumeAniHub may also at its sole discretion limit access to the Service and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
